  Rome-native DJ Charlie Spriggs has always had an inner passion for music. His interest developed when he bought his first guitar in high School and only progressed in 2006 when he bought his first set of Pioneer CDJ's turntables. From there, he started developing his skills by blending and scratching out his own twist on top 40s hits, electronic and hip-hop at friends' parties and social gatherings. "I was always the guy my friends would ask to play the music at our parties," said Spriggs. "It only seemed natural for me to become a DJ." Since then, Spriggs has brought his talents to several locations throughout North Georgia, and has played at several local and regional venues including DJ’s Tavern in Rome and the Halo Lounge in Atlanta. He has previously held a residency at Gatsby’s in Midtown Atlanta. Spriggs has Dj'd at weddings and other events including several volunteer gigs around Rome for the Sexual Assault Center. Today, Spriggs has perfected his craft and is the resident DJ at the new Roman venue, RED, located above Johnny’s Pizza downtown, where you can find him mixing something up that everyone can enjoy. “It's all about good music, good vibes, and doing what I love," said Spriggs.
